Founded in 2018, DAUD Food Products Ltd began as a humble initiative to source quality maize directly from local Tanzanian farmers. Our founders, with deep roots in Tanzanian agriculture, recognized the need for consistently high-quality, safe maize flour products in the local market.
Starting with small-scale operations and a commitment to purity, we gradually expanded our capabilities. By 2020, we had established a full-scale processing mill in Dar es Salaam, equipped with modern machinery to clean, degerminate, and mill maize to the highest standards. Our growth from processing 200 tons to 600 tons per month stands as a testament to the trust we've built with our customers nationwide.
Today, as a 100% Tanzanian-owned company, we remain dedicated to our founding principles: supporting local farmers, maintaining strict health and safety standards, and providing nutritious food products that families can trust. Our journey from maize buyers to a comprehensive food processing company reflects our commitment to Tanzania's food security and economic development.
